About Us
Bridges cooperative believes in family and community. We want to build bridges—between home and community, between education and friends, and between families. We want to build relationships that foster growth, learning, and a lot of fun along the way!
Bridges at a glance:
Cooperative - We all work together to make this happen, no drop-offs. Parents assist in teaching classes and hosting activities.
Secular - Bridges is open to everyone regardless of belief system.
All ages - Bridges is welcoming to children of all ages. We will have classes for preschool through high-school. Kids 2 and under may remain with parents, and a nursery is available for use. We do request that each family have at least one school-age child.
Weekly - We meet on Mondays in Clearfield, Utah from 9 a.m. to noon for classes, and our activities are typically held in the Weber/Davis county area throughout the year.
Parent-led - Each family is responsible for hosting one class each term. You may teach this class yourself, or, if you prefer, you can arrange for someone to come in and teach for you.
Engaging - We have regular field trips, class parties, and adult-only activities.
Safe - We require a background check from all adults who will be on the premises as well as a signed code of conduct from everyone.
